I was thinking the same thing as the other person and was hoping that I missed a joke lol. I cap off every night sitting on the floor petting my cat and dog before heading to bed. It’s a nice relaxing ritual that I hadn’t really thought about until reading your post, thank you for sharing 8)
similar, but my cats jump on the bed for cuddles before treats and running off and deciding whose bed they are sleeping on for the night. also they will share with me their midnight running up the walls, greebles and assorted zoomies if i’m still up (they really want to fight the outside cat).

Agree. Pets are hostages in your house and have no other companionship. Pets should be spoiled with attention and spending time with them, and treats.
