I used to clean women’s restrooms when I was pre-transition / living as a boy / man, and I think that really helped reduce my stigma and fear of being in women’s restrooms.

When I was visibly trans, I just made sure to use the restroom with other, supportive women - going in groups created a sense of protection.

Best thing to do in my opinion is to remember the purpose of bathrooms and have confidence in just walking in.

If it helps, when I used to be a cis guy I actually applied makeup in front of the public bathroom mirrors. I tried to use the least occupied washrooms at first but gradually as the Mondays rolled I just gave less of a fuck and it just became routine at that point.

I started using the more populated washrooms out of a rush for time. At first I was worried that I’d be gawked at but honestly no one bothered looking even while I was applying my foundation. Since everyone was probably just as busy as I was, no one bothered me at all.

So nowadays as an out enby, I just use whatever is convenient to apply my makeup, turns out no one has the time to give a damn and that works perfectly for me and other people like yall here🤗

Where do you find these comics? I tried xcancel and tumblr but brooke2valley seemed to have stopped uploading last december.

Is she still doing new comics and I missed them or are they from the archives?

does she know about piefed or lemmy?

I feel like the main online trans communities are still on reddit - not really sure why they haven’t moved off reddit, tbh

Because forced people to pay horrendous prices for their 3rd party API which led to most independent apps and the mod tools the r/traaa mods relied on to not be viable anymore. This caused a massive protest and exodus which led to a big rise in other plattforms like Lemmy :3
