If you live in a larger city, is it possible to contact a hijra gharana for help? Bare in mind I know nothing about them and as a Brit my knowledge of India generally is… Somewhat skewed. Also if you are able to get out of India (to study for example), don’t try for Britain, they are going the same way as the USA. Other places in Western Europe are better for trans women (Netherlands, Germany, Spain, and Portugal).
