just so we’re clear, Democrats are introducing a trans rights bill they know will fail in the House and Senate now so they don’t bother wasting their time after midterms when they might actually control the House (though I think it’s unlikely they’ll control the Senate, and you would need a two-thirds majority in both chambers to override Trump’s veto).
A trans bill of rights is a great idea, but this is nothing but cheap theatrics - they don’t get points for empty gestures.

The fact that a president, a single person, can even veto the will of millions, is so foreign to me. Or that pocket vetoes even exist.
No single man should hold that power. Let alone that courts can be appointed by politicians. Or that Congress members can hold stocks.
