People who breed animals with deformities sicken me.

That right cat’s legs are way too short, I think it’s in the breed

And people do try to breed them on purpose. Even though the entire litter dies if both parents have the gene.

Absolutely, although it’s totally possible for it to happen naturally. So, not every munchkin is the result of poor breeding. But most likely are the result of inbreeding.

Yes, there is a reason why one never sees a stray short legged cat…

I am. If was used in the way it was bred for ,you might have an argument. But not many if any one still does. Short face is the same, just cruel. Bull dogs can’t even have sex without human influence. And give birth by C-section. Literally could not exist without humans.

Ugh I have family that foster bull dogs. They love them, but know the breeding is awful.

They get them with all these behaviour problems because people think they’re cute when they’re acting like shits. Then they get their back issues and need expensive surgery and get to spend half their lives penned up so they don’t run too much and cripple themselves. And there’s the breathing, difficulty cleaning themselves, and their other health issues.

Bull dogs should not be bred anymore, that species lives a life of misery mixed between intermittent self-damagimlng zoomies and naps.

no, I mean, they have short legs. dwarfism. That’s not breeding a dog that can’t breathe or give birth and is prone to disease. it’s short legs. like a dachshund. what does them being “used” correctly have to do with it?

Look into the breed more. Selective breeding for traits like this comes with other health issues. Barking doctor bill.
