I mostly go by their chosen name. She didn’t come out until I was 15 so it’s kinda confusing with the parental role thing sometimes. I refer to her to others as mother sometimes but usually not directly.
Then if I’m talking about my childhood I’ll often say “my dad” just cause that’s how it was in the memory, but then I immediately switch to feminine pronouns.
Might be some internal thing I should work on I dunno.
One of my moms is trans, I’ve only ever heard her call herself this… and she’s literally a senior citizen.
Very glad you call her that <3, most of the trans moms I know are called Dad by their kids still.

It’s not a high bar, is it? I’m supposed to care more about the idea of AGAB than my own family? Sheesh!
