Elon did in fact make this gesture that very closely resembles the Nazi salute is all Snopes should be saying because to say more would be making a logical conclusion but would be beyond a direct description of empirical evidence. Snopes is not intended to be a news source, it should never be giving conclusions. It is intended to be a very trustworthy fact checker.
