The Trump administration has stopped flying a rainbow flag at the Stonewall National Monument. That’s angering activists who see the change as a symbolic swipe at the country’s first national monument to LGBTQ+ history.
First they removed language mentioning trans people, now they removed the rainbow flag and soon the entire monument will be gone. “First they came” and so on and so forth.
They will never erase us. We will always be here.
I agree with you that the community will survive, yet there are many who won’t.
