It’s not even trans girls this applies to, it’s all women.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

    So wear whatever.

    Fuck ‘em.

      It also applies to men.

Real men people wear what they want.

As a cis woman who has this conversation at least once a month: the kind of asshole that does this isn’t going to be satisfied either way. Wear whatever makes you feel right.

Based cis woman and I as a trans gal agree, I also just wear whatever the fuck I like. Currently that’s a fairly unisex/tomboyish style, but very rarely a skirt at home.

I mainly come off as “flowery elf child 1960s hippie witchy gothic Zen”, wearing every piece of my homemade jewelry, looking like I just smoked an eighth of indica, and smelling like I just came from a Morrocan bazaar. I call it “the toasted fairy”. :3

This is so checking real, a while ago, our neighbor came out as a trans and she said:

She doesn’t dress feminin enough to know what it’s like to be a girl.

And then, when she started transitioning, she said:

She doesn’t have to wear this kind of clothing, she won’t be a girl anyway.

To be honest, for someone that want to be respectful about other, that’s not the best things? Like, we didn’t talk to this neighbor much anyway. The only time she cares about her is when she’s transitioning.

Now, my mom has changed and would probably not say something like this again (at least I hope).
