Religion needs to be made a private and personal affair, and it should be a massive cringe to talk about your religion or beliefs in public, or expect them to be a law.

It might have been interesting to see the L/G person being “taken away” at the end by a person of color. I haaate the way people are continuing to victimize both trans and drag people, and for anyone who doesn’t remember, the 80s and 90s were pretty much just like this for gays in the west. Gays in eastern and conservative cultures are still repressed and suppressed right now. I also hate that I myself harbored a misconception of drag queens until recently. I know at least that the face eating leopards are not on my side.

For young LGBT+ people in conservative cultures, hiding is still a reality. Only dumbass conservative would be surprised that there are “more” gay people in places where such a thing is not punishable by hospitalization or death
