The article seems to hint at requiring more than steriliziation in order to be considered the gender someone actually is.
Yes, we’re plural, no we aren’t faking. We have been plural before the internet etc.
If you don’t believe us, fine, but leave us alone in that case.
Not human so please do not refer to us as such or use any words relating to humanity when referring to us or if it’s intended to include us.

Agreed, though technically there aren’t really ‘opposite’ genders, if there ever were, it’s seen as a social construct and centers the binary and that women exist as opposites to men, which isn’t quite accurate and something we should try to move beyond.
Yeah, cisnormativity actually plays into that too and yes is also annoying.
Just to help a little here, hope that’s okay, it’s called Mononormativity, you don’t have to spell out the whole word 🙂. As a relationship anarchist and ethical nonmonogamist I completely agree, see my rant about it here: !relationshipanarchy@slrpnk.net (sadly the client I use is being annoying and not letting me copy the link to the post directly).
Yes, a lot of physical or culture genocide is perpetuated through ‘socially acceptable’ behaviour, so you’re not at all incorrect.
Oh yes, it really does, sadly. I know this from my own upbringing.
Yeah, socially acceptable things are not at all ethical a lot of the time so I actually ignore them or do socially unacceptable things which makes people confused or annoyed, but I’d rather live according to my own morals and ethics than what others think is correct and morally right because time and time again I’ve seen it not be and lead to disastrous results long term.
As a relationship anarchist I hate having hierarchy in my relationships with others so I always do my best to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Yeah, personally, I want more rights and freedom for younger people. I tire of the ways older people treat them, as if they shouldn’t be allowed autonomy which is based on nothing solid that I have ever been able to find.
I have younger people in my life and we get on well because I treat them as if they are autonomous beings and always ask them for consent before giving them a hug etc and if they say no, I accept that without feigning sadness etc which a lot of other people in their life do.
I see no reason why they shouldn’t be given more rights, treated more autonomously etc, since they respond well to it and punishment is just such a bad motivator, and so are the people who punish for that matter.
This is such an excellent point!
Crossdressing has become an outdated and thoroughly wrong term now. It would be called gender nonconforming if you’re dressing/acting in a way that the gender you identify as usually isn’t allowed to, or if you’re trans some people say ‘boy moding’ or ‘girl moding’ (as in mode).
Though some people use gender nonconforming to mean “not confirming to gender at all” which I think is beautiful, its more understood usage however, is what I previously stated.
I’d say run with the feeling and see where it leads you.
It is probably too early to tell yet and it sounds like you need to explore more.
Perhaps you will end up transitioning more and more, perhaps you will discover you are gender nonconforming.
Either way I wish you luck in your journey, wherever it may lead.
[Sincere] Thank you for letting me know, I wasn’t aware of that 🙂
Not sure I would say they are thoughtless, I’m sure a lot of thought goes into extracting as much value from people’s personal information as they can and excluding anyone that actually cares.
Agree wholeheartedly on the other points though.
“Threads is not run by someone that I and many others find to be an exceptionally despicable human.”
Lol, he stole either the concept for facebook or its actual code so he could rate the women at his school (clue is in the name) and has done his best to erode online privacy, he’s run unethical experiments on the userbase of said site and influenced elections via it, he’s allowed companies to access a ton of private information and now this.
He may not have done as many ‘ridiculous’ things as Musk nor alienated his own family, treated people who get pregnant as tools to create more children and then dump them, but I wouldn’t say he’s not a despicable human.
Just because he’s not publically in the limelight or throwing hissy fits about things, just because people now think of online privacy or manipulation as not worth caring about, I wouldn’t say that doesn’t make him a despicable human, in fact he is probably worse because you never see it coming until it’s too late, with Musk at least he is loud and not subtle enough to know what you’re getting.
Zuckerberg has constantly pulled shit like this and then got away with it because it’s presented as a net good and he doesn’t make a fanfare about it, that imo is even worse.
yes, though that’s not necessarily possible in real danger so I also meant getting used to it for if you need to do it unfortunately for real.
I studied karate a while ago and have looked into self defense since.
I think the most important think is to learn how to control your emotions during any confrontation either using them to your advantage or learning how to calm yourself, heart rate, the adrenalin spikes etc.
Notice what your body is doing and work with it to either calm it or not be so uncontrolled.
LOL the “Scan to activate a Pride surprise” takes the cake.
The person in the last panel is obviously not a bard.
