I’m not part of this community, and the trans aspect isn’t my focus. What matters is the principle: time is limited, so don’t wait for a “better time.” Improve what you can, speak up when needed, and tackle your issues—whether it’s relationships, career, or personal growth.

Test the waters and plan your steps, but keep moving forward. Don’t fixate on the end goal as your only source of happiness. Enjoy the journey, adapt as things change, and address what feels wrong or missing. Progress is about both the destination and the ride.

Whether or not you meant to, you addressed the trans of it pretty well, actually.

The best time to plant a tree was 30 years ago, the second best time is now.

Thanks, this comic really resonated with me, but being a straight cis-gendered guy, I hesitated to make a top-level comment.

I think the only thing really holding me back right now is I want to date lesbians, and not being very femme presenting yet makes me afraid I will have a really hard time, which I really don’t need for my mental health. I’m also kind of low key afraid of encountering a terf or more subtly bigoted lesbians.
