“The Israeli intelligence documents make several claims that Sky News has not seen proof of and many of the claims, even if true, do not directly implicate UNRWA,” Middle East correspondent Alistair Bunkall wrote Thursday.

No one credible will see proof because there isn’t any.

This is like the WMDs dossier all over again.

That’s because Israel classifies anything other than actively supporting their genocide as aiding Hamas

Just a heads up, sky news is was owned by Murdoch and is similar to overseas fox news, albeit a bit less crazy. (Newscorp still has money the Australian version). Looks like it was spun off somewhat recently, in the 10s.

Keep in mind that the Israeli government has a profound interest in killing off anything that even remotely would help the Palestinian people to survive. UNRWA had been a thorn in their side for that very reason. So anything discrediting and defunding the program aligns perfectly with the goals of this war. And all “evidence” so far comes from the Israeli side.

First, there were 12 or 13 local people working for UNRWA who were supposed to be in cahoots with Hamas. In a group of 12+k people who work for UNRWA locally. The Hamas probably never notified that they had put spies or agents into that UN organisation working in their land, and the UNRWA most likely did not know who they were, or they would have taken care of them to keep their position clear. If the IDF knew about them beforehand, why did they not notify the UN about it? If they only learned about those supposed agents later, why do they assume it is the UNs fault for not knowing about them?

Now it’s about Hamas tunnels under some UNRWA buildings. Again, the Hamas dug those tunnels everywhere in Gaza where they thought it would be more safe than elsewhere, and they most likely did not file for building permits or inform UNRWA about it.
