One of mine is great at the vet. The other? They need the stab proof gloves. She was raised by raccoons until I got her, found her in a dumpster with one protecting her. She’s a good cat though, loves me, just not literally anyone else.
Does she let you trim her claws? What about getting her into a carrier to go to the vet? My cat loves me, but freaks out when I try. Wish there was a way to do those without stressing her out…
One of mine took 3 people (including me), 2 pairs of gloves, 2 towels, and half a cat carrier to finally vaccinate. Next visit I told the vet she’d need sedated. He said “I’ve dealt with calicos before.” I then heard what legitimately sounded like a large wild cat screaming. He came back in and informed me they’d need to sedate her.
