Funny, this is actually based off of real life (or a real legend, anyway, not sure). This (at least supposedly) happened in India, and when the king stopped paying for dead cobras the farmers pivoted and that’s where snake charmers came from!
Migrating here (or maybe keeping both) from @ArcaneSlime@lemmy.ml
Will put an eternal curse on your enemies for a Cinemageddon invite.

My favorite MadTV sketch.
Yeah because they’re too dumb and inferior to do those combat roles, that’s a man’s job! Make them run the mess halls and fix the uniforms!
I have two cats, one that looks exactly like this one, and a fat orange tabby who acts like this one with the dive bombing. Idk how you rolled both of them into one but I like it.
I’m shocked! You mean to tell me that the country that will throw you in jail for a tasteless facebook post doesn’t support free speech, the right to assemble, or the right to protest? Who’da thunk it?
They named the kid “Lord?!” I can’t tell if I love it or hate it tbh…
It sounds crazy, but the cat might be fucking pissed about this abandonment and acting out. Cats hate change and this cat just went through at least two big ones: its home being invaded by the dog and then being ousted and thrust into a new completely foreign environment. I’d say try changing the litter, all the better if you can use the same litter the previous owner used to buy, try to get the same food it is used to as well, and give it a little time and some love and hopefully it’ll come around and stop.
Also yes I am judging the previous owner, that is just incorrigible.
