    DYK gargoyle are named such because of the water they gargle out of their mouths.

    So if the cat throws up I think we can consider it a gargoyle. If not it’s considered a grotesque [statue].

      In an excellent example of the lengths a cat will go to in order to fuck up your day, one of my cats jumped up to the top of the post at the top of the stairs and puked down the side of the post from his perch.

      It was honestly impressive in a what-kind-of-sociopath-would-do-that way.

    Um akshually…

    Gargoyles, by definition, have to spout rainwater from their mouth. That is, in fact, a grotesque cat.

    I’m more fascinated by this laundry cart thing.

    Not so much the Reddit username. When people do this shit, do their accounts get spammed to hell so they are no longer usable?

    We’ve always referred to this behavior (getting up somewhere just to look down on everybody) as “gargoyling.”
