I like both for different purposes. I’d much rather be in a kayak if im cruising around a larger body of water like a bay or a lake, but putzing around on a slow moving river or in a swamp I much prefer canoes. Or drinking; drinking in a canoe is a good time, drinking in a kayak is a way to get dunked
…? How many kayaks have you been in? They are quite stable, which is why they are used both in the ocean and in whitewater.
