A few days ago, I got my first cat in my life, and my heart has been full ever since. His name is Candy.

I can’t quite describe the pure happiness of just having him here. Hearing him purr for the first time was the most incredible sound, and seeing his tiny face when I wake up just makes my whole day. It’s a quiet, wonderful kind of joy. I finally have a cat, and I’ve never been happier.

    Super acute.

If you don’t already know, watch for signs of deafness. No source, but blue eyes and mostly white fur have a high rate of deafness.

Not a huge deal as all cats should be kept inside to prevent wildlife destruction. However, it will affect how you call them and play with them.

Childhood friend had a deaf white/blue eye cat, would tap on the floor or knock on furniture to call the cat. Figured the cat thought its name was tap-tap-tap.

Now that you’ve got the head, does the rest arrive later in the mail?

thats actually how they grow. Starting with a head, then a little tail pops up in the back. Then they get front paws. Maybe a month later back paws, etc.

Looks tiny. Maybe 6 weeks? Younger? He might still be young enough to enjoy sitting on your chest and feeling your heartbeat like a baby kitten.
