There are absolutely no jump scares or scary imagery, but it is very existentially heavy

That might be what the guidelines say, but it’s not the experience of any trans British person is or has been and not what the people in charge of the British government or healthcare say. Here’s a short video explaining in detail how the British government fails trans people
If you have insurance now, it might cover bottom surgery. This site has a pretty comprehensive list, but if it’s not listed there it’s worth googling “<your insurance> trans healthcare” and seeing what comes up. You’ll likely need two letters of support in order to receive coverage: one from your hrt provider and one from a mental health provider.
Though not completely up to date, this site can help you find GRS surgeons that take insurance by area

Thank you for the support @LadyAutumn ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ You always know what to say :) I dress pretty androgynously, which I know isn’t helping, but my fear keeps me from going out full fem in my current location. I’m really really trying to get over it so I can stop compromising on my appearance.
I am in pretty intensive therapy currently, which I’m sure is why stuff is rising to the surface. I think I am doing better today :) It’s Friday and Fridays are always good lol
I think once the promotion dam breaks you’ll be getting one promotion after another! It sounds like your hard work has really paid off and I hope the new role is super rewarding!!
Been getting relentlessly sirred and brothered anytime I go outside which is destroying me. Won’t be able to do anything about FFS until I can get my braces off which I don’t currently have a timeline on.
Had my first experience with “trans broken arm syndrome” and the doctor blaming a health issue I am having on HRT. I wouldn’t take that for an answer, and I eventually got them to take me seriously but it still sucked having to deal with that.
The ghosts of trauma have been haunting me this week as well, bringing everything else down with it. Wishing I could be less of a downer lol
Congrats on your promotion though :)
I work in tech as well. Thankfully my current workplace is accepting. I guess I’m paranoid about people’s biases even if they are outwardly accepting.
My lease doesn’t end until october which is cutting it really close to the elections, but the early termination fee is super exorbitant so I’m trying to balance having enough time to find a job, but not ending up having to renew the lease because I waited too long. Finding one that offers relocation assistance would be a dream come true
What’s a good server to set up a matrix account on?
I am terrified to be honest. I’m trying to find work outside of the state as fast as possible, but no luck so far
I’d also add that it’s okay if your testosterone is outside of cis women’s range as long as your estrogen is higher. I was extremely worried that I was ruining my transition, but it really didn’t and I still made excellent progress despite it. Certainly do all that you can to get it lower, but in the mean time don’t fret too much if it is.
Edit: Also if you’re on tablets, you can increase their testosterone suppression by evenly dividing them throughout the day as much as reasonably possible.
Thank you for your hard work LadyAutumn!
With the way Democrats caved on the border I’m very worried they’ll cave on this too
YES, thank you Ada. I completely agree and will be folding your ideas into my understanding. I think you really hit at what was bothering me with how gender identities aren’t only about our relationships with masculinity/femininity and it’s so much more than that.
I use this guide for shaping my brows.
Try to get some eyebrow scissors and if you can an eyebrow brush. Use the brush (or your fingers) to hold them pointing straight up, and cut the hairs to the top of your brow.
Also, only pluck from the bottom!
Pills do not carry a higher risk of blood clots. The elevated risk comes from having elevated levels of estradiol, which can come from any method of administration. Pills are however, harder on the liver and have less bioavailability if swallowed. This can be negated by taking pills sublingually, bypassing the liver.
Thank you for the insight Ada, and happy for my post to be blessed by our admin ~ <3
The doctor said it’s pretty normal
