That’s a question that deserves a really big answer but I don’t think I have it in me this weekend, but the long and short of it is that there are no parties in the US that stand to make money from wiping out the cartels and probably several that would lose money.

I will be absolutely shocked and terrified if Israel shoots down a French plane, fuck them for the genocide they are committing, but that moment would be Gavrilo Princip, Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin(I know I know), and 9/11 combined in terms of ushering in a new age of conflict.
