1. Getting the Indikation from a therapist
2. The first appointment with the surgeon
3. Filing the costs for your health insurance

I have 6 sessions behind me already and it got rid of many hairs already but I know that I will have to do some electrolysis afterwards because of my grey hairs. My plan is to probably get 6 more laser sessions and then do electrolysis.

Maybe you could ask your therapist if she could come with you for one session? Having a neutral person with you might help getting your points across.

And saying what language she speaks might help others finding some resources for her that she can read.
