I hope this will undermine the illegal trade in my country the Netherlands as well. The Netherlands has some of the most retarded laws when it comes to weed. Weed is technically still illegal here. We only have a toleration policy and non of it is codified in the law. There is only a mandate in place that says that possession laws don’t have to be enforced and that certain shops are allowed to sell but can’t grow and cultivate weed. The idea was that it all comes from home growers who are allowed to have a few plants. So guess where all the weed comes from, it all comes from the illegal circuit. The stupid toleration policy only made criminals into multi millionaires. And these criminals of course expanded their business and are now also active in the cocaine, meth and xtc trade. And now the Netherlands is the biggest drugs distributor of Europe

South Korea has one of the highest population densities. Almost every country with a higher density is a micro state or a small island. In the long run this might not be a bad thing. Sure there will probably be an economic collapse or something, but that won’t be the end of South Korea. Once they crawl out of the economic rubble they will probably have a healthier economy. And by that time robotics will be running a major part of the economy even in the health care system.

Then when these young women reported suspicious Hamas activity along the border for months on end the warnings were ignored basically because they were young and female. Of course nobody can match BYD, they don’t just own the supply chain the Chinese government subsidizes every part in their supply chain. The Chinese government wants to crush foreign competitors. And before you say that Tesla gets subsidies, it’s no where near as extensive as the subsidies Chinese EV manufacturers get.

The BYD cars they sell in the West are pretty decently build. I’d be more worried about the aftersales services. Chinese electronics companies always have shitty customer service. Like Lenovo and Huawei. And since a car always needs some repairs during its lifetime I will never buy an EV from a Chinese brand unless they have proven to have good aftersales service.
