We’re a little worried about what happens when the astral calender hits the new millenium but no ones figured out how to insert another date rune without causing the whole magic circle to start smoking alarmingly.
Shadowruns actual rules aren’t so bad, character creation is crunchy but you could fit all the non matrix/spirits combat stuff onto maybe 2 sides of a single A4 sheet. The real problem is the editing, that information is spread across the entire rulebook so badly that sometimes it even feels like the information was cut off mid paragraph.
On the more short term. Immortal and hot as shit for eternity… Humans slowly getting taller on average over the centuries.
Especially given humans have real standout traits like being endurance hunters, somewhat rapid scarring and a high resistance to shock (advantage on constitution checks?)
But the UK has its own nuclear arsenal? Though I admit that fact goes both ways, nukes are kind of all or nothing so the presence of american nukes makes the situation neither better nor worse in regards to the general presence of nukes. Though in the event of launch I supposed it could lead to a situation where the US launches but the UK doesn’t but the launch location causes the UK to tank a retaliatory strike that was incited by the US.
