Israel’s High Court of Justice unanimously ruled on Thursday that same-sex couples are eligible to adopt children.

The verdict was reached by three presiding justices following a petition, which argued that Section 3 of the Adoption Law must be interpreted so LGBT couples would be eligible to adopt within the scope of the existing law.

Look at that. Even a genocidal ethnostate is more progressive on LGBT+ issues than Republicans.

You use the word “Republicans”, which indicates that you understand, to some level, that a country can have more than one political party. The next logical step would be realizing that this principle can apply to countries other than the United States. Can you do it?

Okay? But I was talking about Republicans in the U.S. so why would I do that?

I have always thought that Israel isn’t pro-LGBT+, but instead just doing pinkwashing in order to get support from western countries.
