Making your own fun is all about having goals! The only difference is that you set the goals themselves and there is no external penalty for not meeting them. Like, trying to play a game without the best weapons, or trying to come up with some checklist of tasks to accomplish. Even doing the steam achievements for Prey was quite rewarding, especially the “no needles” one.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. I am just bad at making my own goals. Or keeping up with them xD a big reason why I don’t play Vanilla Minecraft alone anymore. Though true, achievement hunting is nice, i did a few 100% games already. Some I want to be 100% but are really annoying on the last few achievements (shadow of mordor, I loath the last two challenges)

The annoying part for Prey is I only need a single achievement from the base game, but cannot 100% it until I get the DLC. I’ve heard good things about the DLC, but tragically I’m an absolute cheapscape

That’s the worst… I like Sony’s approach to achievements in this case. There DLCs usually get their own separate track so it doesn’t interfere
