He followed me around the farm while I worked with my mare. My mare thought he was great. He even let her sniff him.

The funny thing with Coda is she is afraid of EVERYTHING, including her own shadow. But for reasons unknown she is not afraid of 1,200lb animals at all and will happily walk around them and I can even put her on the horse and she is just “this is fine”. She is terrified of birds even🤣

That’s amazing. Animals can be so silly. My mare is very desensitized to me being a goofball around her, but if I approach her wearing a hood, she’ll flip out. She almost kicked my ass a couple months ago when I went into her stall with my parka hood up. As soon as I took it off she settled.

(Any medium sized animals that the cowcat could use to ride around on? A trusty dog or a comfortable sheep? :))

There’s three horses here, she will sit on their back if I gently place her up there. It’s crazy cuz she really is a skittish cat. I saw her follow a bug that led her under a large fern leaf- when she looked up she must’ve thought a giant bird was swooping down to get her cuz she totally freaked for a moment- the most scared I’ve seen her was caused by a fern🤣 so to ride on a horse amazes me, I can’t figure her out, she’s a tortie🤪
