My sweet little Zee Boy has large cell lymphoma and is scheduled for surgery in the morning. Thankfully the oncology vet center is paired with a ER vet that is open 24 hours and was able to let me come give him snuggles for almost three hours this evening. He’s staying overnight so he’s as ready as possible for a good surgery. Even with all this care he really only has 8 months left at the outside maximum, but so long as he’s happy and interested in playing and snuggles, so long as he’s actually enjoying life, I’m gonna do everything I can to help him have as much life as possible, however long … Or short that may be. Put out good juju for my boy, he’s the sweetest little guy ever and he really means the world to me.
That is the look of a cat that is experiencing deep love and affection. He knows he is loved and that’s all that matters in every moment.
