I get that all things have some limits, but in this case of a chatty cat it would just have to be so unimaginably bad that such a rarity would basically not happen.
I also unwillingly lose respect for ppl that want their cats to be quiet.
It’s like they want a piece of furniture, an ornament, not a living being - actually worse, a living being to not really be itself.
our cats are an orange dipshit and a calico dumpster baby. we lost our previous calico to total body failure. it took us a year to be ready for another cat, and that year was way too quiet. whenever i hear ours chirp at us or mew at each other it’s a delight.
