But you can give lollipops to flowers.

alt text

A sign about what you can and can’t do in an aera.

What you can do :

  • A flower and a lollipop. Maybe it’s a windmill. Edit: it’s a magnifying glass and a flower.
  • A bird with some sound or ultra sound coming to it.
  • A person sitting crossing their legs like meditating. Maybe their legs are wood.
  • A dog in leash.
  • A person throwing two little cubes in a bin or in a giant glass.
  • A shoe. It’s written “Comfortable shoes are recommended” in English and Italian.

What you can’t do :

  • A fire. The wood is the same than the legs of the meditating person.
  • A person swimming in water.
  • A cigarette.
  • A square, each faces having some antenna or reversing syringes. Probably a drone.
  • A hand grabbing a flower. Or a windmill.
  • A hand close to a cat.
  • A head, mouth open, talking.
  • An ice cream cone.
  • A bike.
  • A moving ball.

    • A flower and a lollipop. Maybe it’s a windmill. Edit: it’s a magnifying glass and a flower.

It is a butterfly in a skewer, being used in tandem with a magic wand to levitate a ball.

    • A dog in leash.

That’s a warg with its neck stuck in a bicycle stand. That’s indicating that if a warg comes to eat you, you can quickly run through a bicycle stand to trap it until the authorities arrive.

    • A person sitting crossing their legs like meditating. Maybe their legs are wood.
    • A fire. The wood is the same than the legs of the meditating person.

You can use the force to collect pieces of wood that have been cut at 90° angles, but you can’t use wood cut at other angles for witchcraft, by keeping them in formation next to a large leaf with a slice in between.

    • A hand close to a cat.

Don’t approach a cat with your from the side. Well, you are not supposed to do so from over it either. The best way to approach is from under its chin, with your palm upwards.
You can later pet it from the sides and the top.

      Other lessons from the sign:

      • You may send radio broadcasts to origami birds.
      • We encourage you to dip your hands into any glasses of sparkling water.
      • Do not swing progress bars around.
      • Violence against butterfly skewers is forbidden.

        • Violence against butterfly skewers is forbidden.

        That’s an important part.
Those skewers are precision tools made to handle radially symmetric butterflies and cost a significant sum to the local govt.

You can look at the flowers, but you can’t pick them.

But you can’t just scream. Only at birds.

Specially, if you are using longitudinal waves to scream at birds, it’s fine.
But definitely don’t use transverse waves to scream at random.

This sign missed the mark by a mile. When I have to stop and think for quite a moment to wrangle a signs’ meanings from it, it has already failed.

Also, you can slice them, but they need to be a rectangle with proper 90° angles and not just any parallelogram.

I like that the only text is a recommendation to wear comfortable shoes.
