No, I know how the plot of the movie goes. I’m taking it out of context.
Tbf you can even in canon take Rumi as a trans allegory with how she doesn’t want to go to the bathhouse because of what she hides underneath her clothes but when her friends accept that they finally go to the bathhouse
Oh i also just thought about the final song of the movie and the line “My voice without the lies, this is what it sounds like” and it’s a beautiful voice, still feminine but also in a lower register than what she usually sings and struggles to sing throughout the movie 🤔
