It’s a response to a hypothetical transphobe trying to discourage transfems from thinking they can achieve a feminine voice. It’s not a likely insult, as HRT not adjusting vocal chords isn’t common knowledge outside of queer communities. Cishet people are often surprised to learn that I had to train for my voice, as most of them just don’t think about it. Only the most dedicated and weirdo transphobes would think of this insult.
