I’ve got a little man cat who always needs to get a sniff of anything you are eating. He doesn’t want to eat or nab any of it, but he has to get that little sniff and then he’s fine, not once has he ever tried to eat or steal people food. I think it’s adorable and I just assume he’s looking out for me and making sure it’s not poison.

Mine does the same. I greet her by gently blowing in her face so she knows what I might have had to eat while I was away.

You should pretend you’re going to eat some food that is off and see if he acts differently. Report back!

He grabbed at my hand to stop me! He is looking out for me! What a neat little dude, I love him so much.

My cat waits for nothing when it comes to food. Every meal is an exercise in surprise strikes if he isn’t locked out of the room. Chaos is his playground.

I love the inclusion of “currently”- has the implication that this is temporary/new and she will not stand for it

I had a cat (Sharptooth) that would look out the window over his shoulder and try to paw food off your plate. RIP Sharpie, he was the best kitty

The ears pointed back in that one shot is such a pouty look for not getting her way.

My cat is good about no touchy but sits and gives me the eyes until I give him a bit of it, usually some chicken.
