So as far as sensible personal practice vs Meta:

We can stop doing biz on Meta platforms and delete accounts ✅

Avoid Meta products like Quest VR (extremely easy bc trash) ✅

Avoid using Meta code (React) in our projects ✅
Any other good ideas I am missing?
*edit PS: A helpful thing for me to realize was that the people in my life who advocate the hardest for staying on Meta products are also the people who tacitly support all the horrible behavior of corpos and politicians. It is two sides of the same behavior.

Tim Cook is gay. But that’s the easiest of the queer alphabet to be, tbh.
I doubt it was easy for him either, from what little I’ve understood of rich folks communities.
Also Peter Thiel (probably more important in this context as he the main supporter of JD Vance’s political career), and Sam Altman.
He wasn’t open about it until he became a billionaire tho.
No war but class war. They will find excuses to protect their own, regardless of “ideology.”
And any lgbtq+ billionaires will side with their rich friends because identity politics doesn’t exist for their kind.
Peter Thiel is gay. He’s just too rich to need to care about any of this .
