A fire almost started in my garage a month ago. I was using this outlet splitter that had a bending hinge, and I think the wires wore out or something there because it started burning but fortunately the breaker popped. If it kept slowly burning before the breaker could activate, then this and 3 other homes would have burned down.
Crazy how we trust, all of the hundreds of things we plug into the wall, not to burn our house down.

We’d never even gone up there. It was wild and extremely terrifying. Every little sound makes me think it’s gonna happen again
