  • That definition is assigned by frustrated onlookers not by Israel. It makes no sense for Israel to adopt a policy of outright genocide. That would be a very costly policy, both monetarily and in world opinion. The answer that makes the most logical sense is that Hamas has indeed integrated themselves into hospitals and tunnel networks under hospitals. In some twisted way it’s a brilliant strategy. Israel knows this. In fact Israel knows all sorts of information about Hamas and its movements that the public is not privy to. Hamas assumed that hiding within hospitals would protect them. It’s historically been accepted that when a fighting force hides among civilians, civilian deaths are expected. This puts Hamas to blame for civilian deaths.

    After a barrage of 5000 rockets, kidnappings, and murders, Israel has decided that Hamas must go at whatever cost is required. if Cuba had done the same to the US, nearly everyone here would feel the same.
