I have to be careful with my yarn because one of mine likes to eat anything resembling string or rubber bands.

In our house, we call that the FLOOF
I have one of those too. Due to lack of space, my desk is next to the tv and couch, and she gets pretty demanding when she thinks it’s couch time but I’m working.
That arm looks way too long for its body in this photo. Is your cat particularly long-legged?
Maybe I’m wrong but it feels like their most relaxed, trusting state. Only surpassed perhaps by being on their backs all stretched out. But yeah, seems like a very happy position.
We have a dog door in the laundry room leading outside, and a pocket door leading to the laundry room. The dog can open the pocket door if she wants to; I’ve witnessed it when she really wanted to rush outside and bark at something. Yet when it’s closed and we’re around, she asks us to open it. You silly dog, I know you can do it because I’ve seen you do it. You ain’t fooling anyone. Why do I have to get off the couch to do something for you that we both know you can do yourself? I swear they’re just like children.
Hey, that’s good data! There are always outliers, right? My 12yo meows the most and definitely sounds a bit like an old lady; I’m trying to remember if she always did. One of my 4yos has a super girly high-pitched voice. I struggle to imagine what she’ll sound like in 10 years.
That’s not so bad! Yeah this particular cat is also particularly dense😂 She’s dumb but beautiful so she’s got that going for her, lol.
