hi i’m not entirely new, this is my second attempt at trying the “threadiverse”. …certainly there must be a better term for referring to “link aggregation by way of activitypub”.

i’m not gonna pretend i know how open source governance works but this feels like a deep misunderstanding of it. what i’ve seen done over the years when shit like this happens is devs hard forking or admins migrating to similar projects that actually share their values. my instance has plans to move to piefed, for example.
