So the judge decided that HIPAA just doesn’t apply for, “protection”… okay I can see that being a possibly reasonable situation, so the patient is requesting the government do something on their behalf right? Oh, no, it has nothing to do with any patient request? Well then seems like plain government overreach to me, and undermining superseding federal law over protection of identifiable medical information. This will get thrown out on appeal immediately.
Chicken bones don’t just break, they often shatter in sharp pieces that can cause internal damage if swallowed.
The chickens are finally coming home to roost with the decades of bullshit in commercial real estate worldwide without proper regulation. This isn’t unexpected to anyone with half a brain looking at the industry, which means it obviously completely blindsides major institutional investors who never even consider anything more than quarterly numbers in a vacuum. The pandemic exposed the systemic issues so quickly they couldn’t just brush it under a rug with misinformation.
That’s just spare change for the Pentagon. Almost a rounding error when it comes to unaccounted for money in their audits.
This time around, 1,600 auditors combed through DOD’s $3.8 trillion in assets and $4 trillion in liabilities, conducting some 700 site visits. They found that half of DOD’s assets can’t be accounted for.

Individual dialects don’t really apply to this type of generalization. That’s really too specific.
I mean, that’s a very specific part of America. Most of America doesn’t speak like the Southern states. It may be the largest specific dialect grouping (I don’t care enough to look into it more than a casual search), but that doesn’t mean that it encompasses a majority of America. Boston also has an extremely conspicuous dialect for instance compared to the rest of the country, but we’re not talking about Boston specifically ,we’re talking the entire US generally.
We don’t want to go about saying that British English is wholly determined by the specific dialect around London do we? Even though that’s like 14% of the entire population of England.
