cats@lemmy.world•She's a bit slower and grumpier at 16 years old, but she's still going strong
24·2 months agoI had a cat that look just like her, same ear. She was a bullying gremlin. When morning come she sat at my spot and cried till I seat for my morning coffee and her scratch … 10 min and she bite me, every time. Miss her
I like the fighting mechanics of Honor+Intrigue
In a gist, you have Health Point and Stances, you can « dodge » an attack by decreasing your Stance (which give you penalties) or accept the blow. When you’re out of Stances or HP you have lost

rpg@ttrpg.network•Is it more important that a combat system *is* fast or that it *feels* fast?
5·4 months agoSo i’ve read your text (mostly in diagonal) and I think you’re not seeing your problem from a « good » perspective
You’re stuck into the Simulationist vs Imaginary/Cinematic game.
For exemple : Shadowrun is highly simulationist as opposed to Neon City Overdrive who is cinematic.
If you want fast roleplaying combat you need to be in the cinematic side, if you want 2min in world time being discussed for 2h you need simulationist

13·6 months agoThere’s a Cuck Tingle RPG where you can play a sentient DVD box set. IIRC your stats are not far from this
This seems so much fun, which I had enough time to played it
Thanks, will try to look it up
Don’t remember exactly what rat does. I was thinking that you get bonus to look dumb as fuck (illusions spells maybe) and you love shiny things.
That was my first choice

rpg@ttrpg.network•Where do you play virtual games?
1·7 months agoNo I’m not. Care to explain ? Foundry are better for forever GM ? Roll20 cost a lot for GM ?
In Shadowrun shaman have « totem » spirit

rpg@ttrpg.network•Where do you play virtual games?
1·7 months agoMostly roll20. I asked my crew sometimes ago to try Foundry (mostly because it’s self host if I understand it correctly) but they declined
