Beautiful girl! My kitty was just diagnosed with hyperthyroisism and is now on meds twice a day. The only symptoms were drinking a lot and pottying on the floor beside the box. Drinks less now but still having box issues. How was your girl diagnosed?

We did…

New cat in a room for 2-3 days. That room happened to have a window, which was nice. We put one of old cats beds in there.

Then…

Old cat in a room for a couple of days while new cat explored the house. Left the old cat/new cat bed in there. Fed them on either side of the door. They started pawing under the door without hissing. That’s when we opened it.

They became good buddies.

Now i have a third cat and it’s a shitshow.

I’ve tried several different boxes and litters. We have five boxes but they all 3 want to use one. The problem kitty was my mom’s. She would use the box, meow, and my mom would scoop it immediately. Instead of going to use one of the other four boxes that are completely clean, she poops on the floor beside everyone’s favorite box.

When you find out, please please let me know. I have three cats, five litter boxes, and still everyday the one shits on the floor beside the box. I’m actually happy to clean up the poop because about every third day she also pees beside the box which is much worse.

My kitty has lost 3 teeth and the vet wants to look into pull the rest. I was worried about eating and he said she could still have crunches along with wet food.

Oh man. Do you know what i would give to have my 3 cats on one bed with no fighting?!

My cats don’t like it so I’ve been thinking of returning it. This settles that.

My vet quoted like $1100 for removing the rest of my kitties teeth. She doesn’t paw at her mouth like it hurts, just drools a little, so I’ve put it off. What made you decide to do it?
