I have a relative who has kids (I’m in the US) and he and their mother have both said they fear having their kids come out as gay. They push gender stereotypes hard on the kids. When my wife and I are around the children, we promote anti-gendered stereotypes when we can. It broke my heart when the little girl said “girls don’t do archery, girls do cheerleading” during a conversation with her about what sports she is interested in. Those kids are going to need therapy. Let them be what they want to be.
