Amusingly, that’s not from a human tipping her. According to her previous owner, they let her outside. One day she comes home from the outside with her ear hanging almost entirely off. She’s shakes her head and boom, tipped cat!

The new kitten did it once. She’s taken to sleeping next to my legs during a nap, as my legs are usually curled up so there’s no between.

Every cat my mother has had some hand in finding has become a barge. I do not understand it, but I accept this. I think the kitten will accept it as well!

I was told a cat carrier should be large enough the cat can stand fully upright, and wide enough they can turn around without too much difficulty! I usually put a towel in the bottom for grip, but bath mat and towel sounds even better!

From their point of view, something they have absolutely no control over, for what might be the rest of their lives, is now happening. Maybe if we scream the horrors will stop?

Sometimes they just accept their horrible new reality and go quietly. Some scream the entire way.

My mother nearly did this to her cat. Luckily she heard after a single rotation and flung herself at the machine and got the very upset cat out.

It’s why my entire laundry room is forbidden to cats, and is checked every time anyway.
