“That spell is setup to cast itself at exactly midnight, every night, in every monestary in our order. Except the black crater, of course.”
“Why not at the black crater?”
“We’re not sure. There wasn’t anyone left to ask.”
These are amazing.
I’m going to shamelessly steal some of these for NPCs in my campaigns.
Which is “spills on self frequently enough to have learned to avoid light colors”…?
Session 1 - revealing would break character, so I don’t need to hammer out the details yet.
Session 40 - well shit. I knew I was forgetting something.
Looks like it’s thinking, “I know I shouldn’t have, but it was worth it to see that squirrell from the back yard actually run away.”
I believe, in my heart, that every time I roll the dice, a chick-trac convert has to say an extra prayer to keep the devil from rising out of the sea.
And I use DnD version 3 rules for grappling, so they had better pray hard, beacuse that’s a lot of rolls.
I always feel anxious seeing charges brought against countries, states or companies. It feels like an indication that specific human assholes are trying to get away with murder. It’s a god start, but let’s see some follow through to prosecute specific criminals.
Argh. I can feel this one.
My party often gravitates to the grossest random ad-hoc detail.
“I’m pretty sure that dead animal carcass is magical. I stuff it in my bag.”
… Much later …
“I dump the dead carcass on the Wizards desk and ask him to cast ‘detect magic’”.
…party proceeds to remind me (the DM) that they’ve carried a dead animal carcass in a backpack for half the campaign…
