You roll it, it drops off the table and stops 15
yardsmeters away–if you’re lucky. Or the cat thinks you finally have time for them and playfully pushes theballdie under the couch.I think my d30 is good enough.
Some great mind took hours to break this password. Hours!
Spoiler: the pony survived!
Applying real world logic to game rules never works out.
Also, you forget to take into account the weapon’s mass, form, structural integrity, the commoner’s reaction time, probability to fumble, the force of the wind, and probably a few dozen other factors that have an effect in the real world.
Just don’t. It’s a game.

72·3 months agoIf you look up the definition for an Object, it specifies that it is “a nonliving, distinct thing” — such as a corpse.
However, the definition of Creature does not say it must be living. So, a corpse is both a creature and an object.
There are even creatures that have never been living — such as constructs — and thus are also objects.
define ‘side’.
How many sides on a ball?
My previous character was a Dwarf Marine (barbarian, path of the ancestral guardian). He was wielding an anchor as a 2-handed weapon.
He met his fate killing a sub-boss. (that is: a boss that came from the sea floor, the captain of a submersible galleon)
Last Thursday, 2 characters hiding: nat 1, nat 1

10·10 months agoYou are aware that the inside is lined with plastic anyway?
Tell me, what exactly is the function of a rubber duck?
I’ve run ‘Sarah…’ as a oneshot too, and even though I got the pacing totally wrong the first time, I agree that it is a good one; I will definitely run it again .
I have a new party of three absolute beginners lined up for next saturday. I forgot the snails in the adventure though 🤔
I use https://owlbear.rodeo/ for that. It allows you to cast your map to a 2nd screen in player mode, while you can still see the full picture. It has ‘fog’ to hide areas from the players and supports zooming in on each screen separately, or you can sync zoom&view (manually or continuously) from your dm screen

5·1 year agoThe description of room K3 gives some clues; it describes the different bridges as “the 50-foot-high bridge” and “the 30-foot-high bridge”.
“My arcane focus is a bit impractical in dungeons, but here it works great!”

Lies. Cats don’t ask questions, they assert their rightful place.
