Based on what I’ve been told on Lemmy so far is if the IDF rolls thru a town and there is a large-scale loss of civilian life like this is called “acceptable collateral damage”. And when that happens it’s because they or their houses were in the way of: bombs, tunnels, Hamas, someone whose skin color is the same as someone in Hamas, the business side of a rifle, or a bullet.

And that’s the worst part. I can only assume the millenials and gen z don’t support Hamas, but don’t want to see Palestinians obliterated by an unchecked club bouncer from Jersey.

And for any right-wing chucklefuck that says they deserve it because they elected Hamas, desparate people always pick a heavy-handed solution because they have nowhere else to turn. Look at the rise of right and/or left authoritarianism in the past century. Look at the economic and social factors involved.

Remember when Putin said Russia invaded Ukraine because there were Nazis in charge? I wonder how he feels about someone who meets with them?
