    That’s just what Lore Bard is supposed to be, but the meaning gets lost with 5e’s focus on a single mental stat per class

    The college’s members gather in libraries and sometimes in actual colleges, complete with classrooms and dormitories, to share their lore with one another. They also meet at festivals or affairs of state, where they can expose corruption, unravel lies, and poke fun at self-important figures of authority.

    Landry from the game Tyranny is one of the best examples of scholarly Bard I’ve ever come across. That game was underappreciated.

    I think it would be awesome to have some scholarly bard who uses the ATU index to classify all the major events. Unfortunately, the ATU index isn’t publicly available so you’d have to buy a print copy, then study it enough to recognize when each one happens.
