i mean, if i was the referee, and they weren’t in that architecturally precarious situation, i’d think that’s a mighty fine solution to the puzzle, actually.

opposable thumbs for my feet would be my first unusual want for sure, and maybe proportionally longer arms, and narrower shoulders. i’d also like fancy robot muscles so i’m easily strong enough to carry my partner around. once swapping chassis becomes more accessible though, i’d imagine i’d want to try out a number of different forms. might be neat to be an octopus person sometimes, or be real little, or be a bird, or a cybernetic motorcycle, or a swarm of rats controlled by a distributed hive mind.
